Your favourite The Little Gym story?

- I could tell you soooo many amazing stories but my favourite thing and what gets me up in the morning is knowing that before, during and after every class children run up to me and give me so much love and affection! I feel truly special every day knowing that they love my classes and being around me!

How did you get interested in sports?
- My parents love telling this story; when I was a young boy I used to love jumping up and down on my parents’ bed and have broken several mattresses as a consequence! They figured that I should be doing gymnastics and would be of course very well suited to the sport! I have loved it ever since and competed from the age of seven until I was 18 years old. I represented Wales and am now so glad I can use these skills teaching children – I can now combine my two true passions.

What do you love to do in your free time?
- I play golf and rugby! In fact, you can hear me before spotting me on weekends in Bushy Park with fellow teammates from my local Rugby Club, Teddington RFC!

What can't you live without?
- Making children happy and my colourful non-matching socks!

Where have you lived?
- Wales, Basildon, Essex (where I was born) and local areas to The Little Gym Hampton!

Your favourite The Little Gym story?

- Iour environment that they take a big stride towards their parent / guardian. It is always amazing to witness!

How did you get interested in sports?
- Right from the start I couldn’t get away from sport as my entire family are all very keen sports people! The passion continued as I grew up, so much so that I even did a BSc in Sports studies and Business. I also represented the Richmond Borough at national level in athletics. I follow all sports and I will ensure my two year-old daughter will continue the legacy!

What do you love to do in your free time?
- Being a father of a gorgeous two year-old little girl keeps me very busy during my free time and I love it! I also love a game of golf or tennis or even simply being outdoors and explore.

What can't you live without?
- Biltong of course! Knowing that I’ve contributed to developing children’s confidence every day!

Where have you lived?
- I was born and raised in West London and studied in Southampton University.

Your favourite The Little Gym story?

- I have seen so many great things during my time at The Little Gym Hampton but one of my favourites is to witness the first time a child achieves a skill unaided, there is always such excitement and joy in and outside the class when this happens! (Parents and / or guardians get as excited as the children!) As I’ve been here four years I have also had the privilege of seeing how much our children from a funny bug class to an Ariel class have progressed and developed into young gymnasts oozing confidence in the gym and loving making new friends… This is so rewarding and brings me great sense of achievements!

How did you get interested in sports?
- According to my mum, I was a very active little boy and always found ways of burning energy around the house sometimes, much to the detriment of her furniture. So, naturally my mum decided it would be far more productive if I did that whilst doing a sport that would actually develop lifeskills. She booked me in for an assessment at Heathrow Gymnastics when I was eight and was lucky enough to be accepted into the team! I loved it and competed for a long time at national level. Now I am proud to be able to teach a sport I am so passionate about!

What do you love to do in your free time?
- I still love maintaining my gymnastic skills and during my days off I often go back to my old patch to practice my backflips and twists!

What can't you live without?
- I couldn’t live without feeling that I actually make a positive impact in children’s lives.

Where have you lived?
- I’m a real home buddy… I am a local through and through – there’s no place like Twickenham!

Your favourite The Little Gym story?

- Having worked at The Little Gym for over five years, I have lots of favourite stories, in fact I get one every day and just when I think it couldn’t get better, the next day proves me wrong! If I would to try to summarise what puts a smile on my face every day it would be seeing how confident the children we teach become. I particularly love seeing those that were initially shy and reserved become leaders in the class!

How did you get interested in sports?
- Just like all my team mates, I was an extremely active young child, so the nursery told my mum that she absolutely needed to find a way for me to burn energy outside the class! They suggested gymnastics and I never looked back! I started at the age of five and reached national level. I enjoyed every minute of it and still do!

What do you love to do in your free time?
- Shopping of course! I am also very dedicated in keeping my fitness up and will sometimes even go to my local gym twice per day! Like Liame and Abbie, I often return to my old gymnastic club to polish some of my old skills! I also love seeing my friends.

What can't you live without?
- A good pair of trainers and gymnastics! Also, cuddles with my cats, shopping and chocolate!

Where have you lived?
- I was born in South Africa but was raised in Twickenham, studied law in central London but Twickenham is the place for me!

Your favourite The Little Gym story?

- There are so many!! Perhaps, the one I do love the most is hearing parents telling me that what we are teaching their children transfers so well in a classroom or even in a social context. For example, I have many parents that comment that their children’s listening skills, attention span and taking turns have developed so much since joining The Little Gym and that they can truly see the improvements in their children.

How did you get interested in sports?
- My mother started me on gymnastic at Heathrow Gym when I was only three years old and right from the outset I loved it! I became a strong member of the team and I competed regionally on a regular basis. So, it is no wonder that I wanted to continue to utilise these skills in my professional life and how great is it that I can now teach and in turn inspire young children!

What do you love to do in your free time?
- I love joining Courtney and Liame at our old patch and practice some skills it is always such a fun day and rewarding to see that I’ve still got it! I also love socialising with my friends and occasionally babysitting for our members here at The Little Gym.

What can't you live without?
- Doing handstands and cartwheels and making children laugh!

Where have you lived?
- Twickenham and Chichester where I studied music and performance arts for three years!
